SENIOR PASTOR Ben Young Ben Young is the senior pastor of Second Baptist Church, where he's served since 1989. He also teaches at Houston Theological Seminary. Originally from the Carolinas, Ben now calls Texas home with his wife, Krissie. They have six kids, two grandkids, and enjoy an active, faith-filled life together. Ben is the author of several books including Room for Doubt, The Ten Commandments of Dating, Devotions for Dating Couples, and Survive the Day. He has served as chaplain for the Houston Astros and enjoys surfing and practicing Brazilian jiu-jitsu in his free time.
