Frequently Asked Questions

No. Our support groups are open to everyone—whether you attend Second or not. All are welcome.

Support groups offer a community environment where individuals with shared experiences gather for encouragement, conversation, and biblical insight. They are not clinical or therapy-based. If you’re looking for one-on-one or professional counseling, please visit our Counseling Center page.

Most groups are free to attend. Some may have a small fee to cover materials, which will be communicated in advance.

Support groups are led by trained facilitators—many of whom have walked through similar life experiences. They offer guidance, compassion, and biblical encouragement, but are not professional counselors.
